Well fall has arrived although with the warmer weather this last week I'm not sure if summer is trying for a second run! I know it's fall when I start making plans to put the bikes away for winter so hopefully the warm temperatures stay for a bit longer!
So the reason I'm late with this newsletter is I have been trying to figure out dates for Personal Trainer, Jeff Babister to speak about safely working out with an ostomy. Our planned meeting of October 10 will be moved to October 17 at 730pm, and Jeff Babister will speak Oct 30 2023 at 730 pm. Due to the change in Jeff's schedule he can only speak on Monday nights, so if this becomes too confusing to keep track of, I may move all meetings to Monday evenings but we will see how it goes.
Open Forum/Peer Support Meeting: Tuesday, October 17 at 7:30pm
Monthly Meeting featuring Personal Trainer Jeff Babister: Monday, October 30 at 7:30pm
Recently Ostomy Toronto partnered up again with Ostomy Canada Society and Crohn's and Colitis Canada to sponsor the International Fashion Encounter in Toronto on September 22.
It showcased people's individual style and fashion with different ostomys and pouches. It was a great opportunity to work with both organizations and hopefully we can do more in the future.
Please stay safe and healthy.
Thanks for your continued support,
Jim Fitzgerald
